Our Story

City Life Church is a four year old, gospel-centered, growing church plant in downtown Wichita.

The beginning of City Life can be traced back to spring 2011 when Lead Pastor Casey Casamento Pastor along with Pastors Joey Fink  and Dale Huntington plus their respective families stepped out in faith to plant a church with 3 other families who longed to see the City of Wichita changed by the gospel.  The church began with 13 people in a living room and quickly grew and began informal Sunday services. Before long we had outgrown two different facilities. The stories of gospel transformation were all around us and continue on this same path to this day. City Life is now located city center at the iconic Orpheum Theatre, allowing us amble space to grow and permanent kids and student spaces and offices. We have seen nearly 15 missional communities launched throughout our city, gained 225+ covenant partners, and our weekly worship gathering has grown to 450+ people.

Demographically, Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, with nearly 700,000 people in the metropolitan area calling the “Air Capital of the World” home.  Religiously, Wichita is a fairly traditional, mainline midwestern environment with over 50% of the population not affiliated with a religious congregation. Congregationally, we have a young but diverse group of attendees, and currently have about 225 covenant partners.  Our worship gatherings are gospel-saturated with Christ-exalting songs, liturgical elements, and expository preaching.  Service is casual dress and begins at 10:30am on Sunday Mornings in the Orpheum Theature, 200 N Broadway Wichita, KS 67202.
