City Life Church is a gospel-centered, growing church in downtown Wichita.

The beginning of City Life can be traced back to spring 2011 when Lead Pastor Casey Casamento, along with Pastors Joey Fink, Dale Huntington, and their respective families stepped out in faith to plant a church with three other families who longed to see the city of Wichita changed by the gospel.  The church began with thirteen people in a living room and quickly grew to informal Sunday services. Before long, we outgrew our two worship locations, Abode Venue and The Orpheum.

In 2016, God called City Life Church and First Baptist Church, located one block away, to form a union as one church, sharing the same vision for the city. On June 2016, we had our first worship service as the new City Life Church. The stories of gospel transformation are all around us and continue to this day. We are located in heart of downtown Wichita, meeting at 216 E 2nd St. We have seen nearly eighteen missional communities launched throughout our city, gained 275+ covenant partners, and our weekly worship gathering has grown to 800+ people.

Demographically, Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, with nearly 700,000 people in the metropolitan area calling the “Air Capital of the World” home.  Wichita is a fairly traditional, mainline midwestern environment with over 50% of the population not affiliated with a religious congregation. Our congregation made up of a diverse group of people. Our worship gatherings are gospel-centered with Christ-exalting songs, liturgical elements and expository preaching.
