The vision of City Life Church is to see the gospel transform everything – ourselves, our church, our city, and the world.

Over 700,000 people live in the metro-area of Wichita and the majority of them do not belong to a religious congregation.

We believe church-planting can reach the darkest corners of our city for Christ. City Life is committed to multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches. Our missional communities will send out gospel-driven, city-focused people to declare and demonstrate the gospel to the people of our city.

City Life’s culture is grounded in our “Values”:

GOSPEL CENTRALITY – The gospel is the good news that God is reconciling the world to himself through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  This message shapes the structure of our gatherings, informs our preaching and counseling, and forms the identity out of which we rest, work, play, and live out our mission.

MISSIONAL COMMUNITY – The gospel makes us a diverse spiritual family.  Practically, we express our unity and mission primarily through missional communities called “City Groups,” which are comprised of 10-20 adults learning to follow Jesus, loving each other, and declaring and demonstrating the gospel in our neighborhoods and city.

HOLISTIC MISSION – We desire to be a missional people, whose lives have been deeply transformed by the gospel; therefore, will live as missionaries extending the message and mercy of Christ in our workplaces, neighborhoods, families, and the nations.  We seek to leverage our gifts, resources, and “social capital” to generously serve and bless our city through deeds of mercy and justice, especially to the poor.
